I had thought about going out for lunch, but it was only 11 o'clock, so we stopped at the Giant Tiger store, where we bought Neva a new magic wand (her old one had broken), and she got a stick-on tattoo from the cashier on the way out.
Having killed a half an hour walking around the store, we left for Darbar, where we shared an order of onion bhaji, and a butter chicken with rice and naan. She didn't really like the bhaji, but enjoyed everything else.
Once we got home, we played some video games together for about an hour. Then she got to watch some TV while I updated iTunes with the new music I got today.
After this, she remembered the tiger tattoo, so we stuck it on her arm, but she shortly changed her mind, and decided that she didn't want it, but became very upset when learning that soap may be required to remove it. After about half an hour of consistent melting down, we took her upstairs to use an alcohol swab (which was more tolerable, for some reason, than the idea of soap), but when the first bit of the tiger's face came off, she changed her mind again, and decided she hadn't wanted it off after all. At my wit's end, I resolved the conflict by removing the rest of the tattoo with the swab in spite of Neva's protests.
She was still in tears when Cheryl got home. Although she's settled down now, I wonder if she'll remember the rides on my shoulders, the Smarties, the magic wand, the butter chicken, the games, or just the way I rubbed off her tattoo.
EEE doesn't stand for anything I recognize - the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo is usually abbreviated E3.
