Dance veritably before legal proceedings (9)
-- The Backyardigans, Eureka!
It's amazing what you can find when you look around in your car. Or maybe it's just my car.
Two weeks ago, fed up at the repetition, I changed and misplaced the kids' Backyardigans CD which they usually listen to about two or three times daily - whenever we get in the car to take them to or from school or on longer trips. I thought for sure it was in the centre console of the Civic between the seats, and probably checked there eight times - no exaggeration. I decided to take a thorough look under the seats, and found a couple other things that I thought were missing (a jar of chili paste I bought in Arkona at New Years, and a couple of turkey pepperette sausages from a couple weeks ago, the latter of which I promptly ate).
Without the kids' disc but anticipating our long drive to Burlington tonight, I downloaded a different Backyardigans CD (unable to find the same one online), and Neva and Hugh have been enjoying that.
This morning, I was loading their carseats into the car, and decided [for some reason] to check in the console again, and found the old CD. How I could check in a 2 litre space eight times already and fail to notice it is embarrassing, but not ultimately surprising, and I'm glad I found it.
Plus I found the missing food, so it all worked out.
