Seattle's top taxi driver has crusted wounds (6)

What is the difference between a taxidermist and a tax collector?
The taxidermist takes only your skin.

Well, another Monday, another morning in prison, another afternoon movie, nap and few episodes of Scrubs, another night on the job in the Emergency Department. This also means another weekly weigh-in on the hospital scale I trust.

Our weekend at Great Wolf Lodge was lots of fun, especially with the company of Don and Marg for our overnight stay on Friday night. Cheryl has already posted about the time away and various ailments that may be attributed to viruses or chlorine, but I am confident that the chlorine is more to blame for the recurrence of itchy and red dry skin on my arms and calves. This is almost identical to the rash I got when in Arizona two months back. In truth, My right arm had not quite resolved but has relapsed after the better part of two days in the chemicals (and whatever else is there to require so many chemicals). This morning I broke down and put some steroid cream on it - I usually wear short pants in the ER and I didn't want to be all red and inflammed and infectious looking in front of the patients tonight.

I'm mostly itch free presently, but it's over twelve hours before I get home. I may have to see if they've got anything here that I can use to give myself a top-up before then.
