but people will never forget how you made them feel.

People will also forget their lunch a lot. Or maybe it's just me. I had enough food for the two nights in Campbellford at the front door as I left, but took the computer and forgot the food at home. It's sad how often I do this.
I grabbed a Subway for supper on Sunday night, but that ultimately left me to have to go out and get breakfast and bring back some lunch and supper for Monday at the hospital. I have written previously about the selection of "family restaurants" in Campbellford, and took a recommendation to try a new one called "Fortune Cookie" where they do Korean food. It comes as news to me that fortune cookies have anything to do with Korean cuisine, but it's the nature of ethnic cuisine in small Ontario towns that they all get transformed into what the customers are thought to expect.
I read a little Homeland Insecurity while they made my breakfast, which with two eggs, two slices of brown toast cut diagonally, and some fried potato slices, was pretty much the same as every other place I'd tried in town. I also had them make me some Korean chicken for my lunch/supper, and it was outstanding. I don't remember what it was called, but I'll totally try more of it when I go back to town! I managed to finish all the TV on my plate and watched the Korean war film Taegukgi as well. So it was a night of Korean things.
In what is a rare move for me, I didn't manage to slip in an "annyong" when talking to the woman at the restaurant.
Maybe next time.
