Disconnected without white tail of cat (7)

I think today's clue is harder than normal, but you have a week to figure it out.
I had planned to get home today, take Hugh to Kindermusik, maybe go to a talk that I had heard about on campus, then come home, and install speakers in the ceiling above the treadmill while Hugh napped, and then run my 42 minutes of 24, all before three thirty when I get Neva from school.
Instead, I got home, fed Hugh some crackers and cheese, brought him downstairs with me for some video gaming before his nap, then continued playing until he woke up. Although this is thoroughly less productive than I had planned to be, I have now passed the point where I was stuck in Metroid Prime, before we lost all the data on the memory card. Wahoo for me!
From three-thirty on, the day went more or less according to plan. I picked up Neva and returned home in time to touch base with Kingston Honda about buying out our Element now that the lease is up. Also my Palm Pilot notified me that I'm seeing the dentist tomorrow. I hadn't remembered that.
Shortly after seeing her tomorrow, I will be going offline - I have already mentioned that Cheryl and I are going to Varadero for a week, and will reconnect on Thursday night, from my parents' house in Holland Landing.
This is me signing off for now. Unless I blog tomorrow.
Which I probably won't.
